About

At Skoda Auto, we embarked on a transformative journey to reimagine their main web presence. To kick-start this endeavor, our team organized a 2-day design sprint, fostering a collaborative environment where creativity and innovation thrived.

The design sprint provided a unique opportunity for us to approach old problems with fresh perspectives and new angles, ultimately illuminating a path forward that will shape the future of Skoda Auto's online presence.

The Challenge of Mapping Digital Landscape

As we embarked on this design sprint, we were tasked with revolutionizing the car buying experience for Skoda Auto. The goal was clear: to create a seamless and engaging online platform that would delight users and drive sales. However, we faced a daunting challenge: how could we simplify the often-complex process of configuring and purchasing a vehicle, while still providing customers with the perfect blend of customization options and personalized recommendations?

We knew that our solution had to not only meet but exceed user expectations, setting a new standard for online car buying experiences. As we continue to explore more products within the Škoda Auto ecosystem, we face the daunting task of mapping their digital landscape.

Design System itself was a collaborative work of multiple designers through its lifespan. Due to designers coming and going it was hard to keep consistency of decisions. Every designer left piece of them in the project.Overall well built system. Components designed precisely following best practices of accessible colors, usage of auto layout or honoring the 8px grid.
